Paul Oyston – Club President
Paul has 20 years in the Consulting and Asset Management Industry, working for some well respected companies in both Management and Operational roles. With process improvement and project management experience Paul has taken on the role as President to establish a sustainable, highly regarding regional body, with a sense of growth and responsibility to the juniors and their development in surfing. Paul has a young family and is a keen surfer.

Anthony (Ant) Phillips – Club Secretary
Anthony has a dual life, one in the wool suit working with some of Australia's most iconic & well known food manufacturers.  He currently manages a $160M portfolio of retail supermarkets accounts.    His other life see's him in the wetsuit at the well known 'Point.  He is Vice President of Sandon Point Boardriders and is an active member of Bushcare and other community related activities.  Anthony is 40 years old and married with a young family.  His dream of finding an undiscovered 'perfect wave' also takes him to the back-blocks of the Pacific as often as possible.

Paul Charlton - Marketing DIRECTOR and media liaison
Worked as an area manager in the broadcast industry before becoming director of his own Water Tank and Solar Business. He is also President of Woonona Boardriders one of the regions booming clubs. Paul re-established the club in 2003 and is now one of the regions most competitive and successful clubs. Paul has a great relationship with local media and has achieved excellent results in gaining publicity for local competitions and events.  Paul works closely with Paul Oyston and is keen to drive surfing Illawarra into a high profile establishment. Paul is a 33 years old farther of two and keen surfer.

Mick Van Opstals - Coaching & Development
Mick is a 35 year old father of two children who has worked in the Illawarra coal mining industry for 18 years. He has founded and currently is the president of east Corrimal boardriders whose primary focus is to build community spirit and improve junior development within the area. He is trained in workplace assessment and training and has most recently been involved as a coach in the Illawarra’s first high performance camp. He also runs the annual “’collieries surf comp’” which involves over 100 competitors and raised $17,000 for charities in 2007, he is a very keen surfer.

Gary Morton – Regional Head Judge
Gary is 44, a father of 2 and has worked in the refractory industry in illawarra for 27 years. He is a life member of Sandon boardriders where he held the position of president for several years and also held position of president on (IABA) Surfing Illawarra committee. Gary is a Level 3 international judge. He has judged World, Australian and State Titles as well as most other pro open & junior competition. Gary has been involved with surfing for 25 years and has run more contests than he can remember.

Christian De Clouett - Treasurer
Christian is 32 years old married with two young children, Christian works as a Ground Engineer for Qantas Airways, his employer of choice for 15+ years. Christian has competed on the world stage as a professional surfer under sponsorship. He is now also the Senior Surfing Instructor for Taupu Surf School where he has worked as a valued employee since its inception in 2003. Christian's expertise and commitment have played a huge part in making Taupu one of the most successful surf schools in Australia. Christian is also the President of the Scarborough Boardriders Club.

Don Jonceski - Business Development/ Photography
Don has over 25 years experience in the Information Technology industry, working in various business development and management roles. The last 7 years as co-founder of a successful consulting business with annual turnover >$20M. Key skills include Business Development, Project & Program Management and Process Improvement. Don is also a professional photographer with 20+ years experience in freelance sport, portrait & wedding.
